The 20 Something Society

So, recently I decided I needed some pants.  I only own one pair of pants that aren’t jeans.  I took a trip to the Gap and tried a few pairs on.  Gap is on this legging pant kick right now and that wasn’t exactly what I was looking for.  They have a premier pant collection though.  Nice pants with suit jackets and everything.  I opted out of the suit jacket.  One thing I love about the Gap is their “cropped” pants.  I’m one short lady, so their version of cropped is just right on me.  I tried on a pair of the slim cropped premier pants and liked them..bought them.  Give me a couple of chances to actually wear them and I’ll let you know if I love them.

While I was there I oogled this chartreuse moto zip cardigan that I drool over every time I go in.  This time it was actually on sale..but they were all too friggin big for me.

Twas a sad, sad day.

And this GapKids shirt was so cute I was tempted to try and squeeze into one.

I finally bought a pair last week.  On sale for eleven bucks!  Can’t beat it.

I finally got those Always Skinny jeans from The GAP.  I am in love with them.

I have to say that I HATE shopping for pants.  I guess being chunky all my life has me wired to hate it.  I’m much smaller now and I still havent tried on any new pants.  The only pants I have tried on have been my long and lean jeans from the Gap and let me tell you I love those freakin jeans!

My lower torso/abs area is my largest spot of course, so all these jeans out now with the low rise are not ideal, the midrise is perfect!

Today the husband and I stopped by the Gap because I was just itching to try their new line of 1969 jeans.  Specifically, a pair of the Always Skinny in a dark wash.

Verdict: Almost perfect!  Like I said earlier, the low rise is not ideal, and the back pockets seemed too long on my bootie.  I have to get a pair before fall hits us.
