The 20 Something Society

We're going to make it after all.

I am not someone who stays up to date with The Youtubes.  I usually get caught up on all the funniness whenever my sister in law comes over to visit and we have a half day of her showing me funny things on youtube.  BUT I am proud to say she did not show me this one.

Funny cause its (kinda) true.

Fashion

Classic

Just wanted to share some street style with ya today.  Howsabout some classic American prep with a modern edge?

I am dying over that bag in the second outfit.  I NEEDS IT!

Thought I’d post a super casual clothesline for you guys.  This is one of my absolute favorite shirts.  Denim striped conductors shirt from the gap.  LOOOOOOVE.  Might not be the most spectacularly flattering thing but whatevs.  Also debuting the new haircut.  I went with a little shorter.  Thoughts?

Life

Transportation.

So, give us a few years when The Husband is done with his PHD program and we’ll be moving again.  He hopes somewhere with a good public transportation system.  And I hope somewhere where it would not be ridiculous to expect to be able to get to a reasonable amount of places by bike.  These two things usually mix well.  Here is a little dream for when and if we live there.

with this frame bag!

Just wanted to tell you guys how yummy this Baileys Creme Brulee coffee creamer is!  You should try it.  Doesn’t this look like a lovely morning, a nice big mug of yummy creme brulee coffee, a book, and some leftover valentines day carnations in milkglass?

Graffiti Cake.

Is this wedding cake from  Sweet & Saucy not amazing?  I have never seen one like it.  Go ahead gaze and gasp.

If you are ever planning a shin dig in Long Beach, Cali – hire them for your cake/dessert table!  I follow A LOT of wedding blogs and constantly see their work and it never disappoints.   Here are a few others from them.

Spring it coming!  I am so over the cold and snow and cannot wait.

This past weekend we opened all of the windows to let the fresh air in AND my rosemary bush got to go outside!

Food

Creation.

Last week we were trying to think of something different to cook using ground pork – and came up with a BBQ pizza!  We had some fancy gourmet bbq sauce in the cabinet that we spread over the crust – cooked the meat and crumbled it over top- and then spread coleslaw!  It was yummy, and I eat meat, but I can’t eat a lot of it.  I don’t know what it is, I can’t explain it.  Its….strong? for me.  The husband enjoyed it much more than I.  I ended up taking almost all of the meat off of mine after a little and just having the sauce and coleslaw.

Trip.

I’m going on a trip this coming weekend with a couple of friends of mine – we’re flying away! I’ve packed my suitcase today – pretty much. Fit everything into my carry ons and one small suitcase. We’re supposed to be going shopping tomorrow for any last minute pretties.

I still wish I had the luggage from The Darjeeling Limited.

My favorite piece is number 4.  The duffel.

What happens when fellow blogger Miss Moss mixes street style and vintage design?  Pure eye candy.
