Have you heard of Hangout Fest? If you are in Alabama I know you have – if not – LOOK IT UP! Killer music festival held on the beautiful beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama. This was its third year.
This past week we were there living it up! My mom got us tickets for my birthday present and it just might have been the best birthday present ever. There are different levels of admission to Hangout Fest and my mom wrangled us some Super VIP passes. I have always told her that VIP for festivals wasnt worth the money, but after getting svip treatment – I’m here to say that it totally is and I will be saving up to buy some SVIP next year!!!!!
Some highlights from the weekend (for me anyway) were Alabama Shakes, Big Freedia, RHCP, Dispatch, and JACK WHITE!!!! There were tons of other great bands too though! here are some instagrams and pics I stole from my moms camera!

We drove home Monday – and the hubs started feeling sickly about half way home. Then the next day I followed suit. We are both lying in bed being sickly now. He is napping (which he NEVER does) and I am putting this post together, and watching Dreamcatcher. I guess we’re getting too old for this shiz! Our bodies were like ‘I don’t think so, you’ll have to pay for that much fun.’
