The 20 Something Society

This prosperous local business owner in Gulf Shores is planning this big music festival, supposedly comparable to Coachella.  Gulf Shores is where my mom lives, I grew up about forty five minutes away, and we’re going to be down the week of the festival anyway.  I am on pins and needles waiting for this guy to release the acts.  Last I read he was releasing on the fourth of January – but he DIDN’T.  I was annoying the husband and calling him all day to check.  Please Mr.Hangout.  Release the bands already.

We drove the five hours to our hometown today, Mobile!

We barely got everything to fit in the trunk, but it happened.  We started the ol’ Ipod up and out came

When we arrived to the in-laws, there was a plethora of homemade chocolate treats to make me fat.  I ate some.  After we unpacked we went to visit my grandparents and they gave us…a big bag of chocolates to make me fat.  I ate some of that too.
