Irritating Weather.
It was warm and sunny this past friday. It felt like spring. And rightfully so, it is almost April, “spring break” has come and gone. Today however, it is freaking snowing. What is going ON! Bring on the SUNSHINE please!!!

Scottish? Irish? I don’t know.
Is it weird that the husband loves Ron Swanson from Parks and Recreation?
I do think his office of breakfast related posters is pretty awesome.

More minimalist posters. Surprise. These are ALL STEPHEN KING! Man thats good.

Hobble that B! For me this is one of the most memorable painful scenes ever.
My only wish? That Nick Tassone make a The Stand poster.

While I’m at it…

and

My uncle posted this on his blog 3D Monster.
And you better bet, if its a funny video from him, its probably from Japan. Anyways this is the cuteness.
I’m bringing something new to the blog. At the end of every month I’m going to post The Crying Game. Ya see, I cry alot. Mostly at movies and music though. I’m not saying I sob and get all snotty, sometimes its just a few tears, but I cry. I decided it would be good times to keep up with how many times a month I cry and what makes me cry. I have my moleskin (planner) on me at all times, so it’s pretty easy for me to jot stuff down. You read right. I still carry a planner, not an Iphone with a calendar. This month I cried a recorded 53 times. Only two of which were not movie or music related.
My first cry of January and in 2010 was…drumroll please.
Driving home from work one day and listening to the Dixie Chicks – I’m Not Ready To Make Nice. Specifically the part when she sings “It turned my whole world around, and I kinda liked it.” Gets me every single time.
The last cry of January was just a few minutes ago while watching the grammys. Andrea Bocelli singing Bridge Over Troubled Water. Get it Andy.
Honorable mentions/classics:
I recieved guitar hero 5 for christmas. When we got home and tried to play it together, I was singing and it wouldn’t sync up. We tried EVERYTHING. Nothing worked. So I cried because I wanted to sing and I was tired and cranky. Sometimes a girls just gotta sing.
The thought of the possibility that I may one day see Tom Petty live. This is a common one. My husband is in no way surprised to be reading this one.
Watching Kate Hudson on Inside The Actors Studio. James Liptons first mention of Almost Famous. You know he says and then theres the film Almost Famous. Yep.
Watching White Oleander (read this book). The character Astrid walks by and ignores Patrick Fugits character because she believes she is naturally bad for other people.
Watching Inside the Actors Studio – Conan O Brien. James Lipton and a chorus sang a special rendition of Thanks For The Memories. This was the week before Conans last week. Singing at 2:20.
(edit) Make that 54 times…while embeding this video it made me cry all over again.)
While watching The Crying Wife cry while watching Marley and Me.
The Crying Wife
We drove the five hours to our hometown today, Mobile!

We barely got everything to fit in the trunk, but it happened. We started the ol’ Ipod up and out came
When we arrived to the in-laws, there was a plethora of homemade chocolate treats to make me fat. I ate some. After we unpacked we went to visit my grandparents and they gave us…a big bag of chocolates to make me fat. I ate some of that too.
Vintage Rock N ROll and I LIKE it!
I just finished the last wedding I shot, and let me tell you. It was SO much fun! The couple had a non traditional DIY wedding. I thought you guys might be interested in a little sneak peek!
They had their ceremony and small reception at the Birmingham Zoo Lodge where they set up 3 foot tall inflatable mushrooms along the walkway.

Mrs.C s veil and hairpins were DIY and looked just gorgeous I might add.

The groom made all of the bouquets from felt, buttons, and wire. Hanging from the brides bouquet was her Aunts baby bracelet, which spelled out her maiden name. He also felted the cake topper – two birdies sharing an Ipod!

Mrs. C gave her bridesmaids a color scheme and told them to pick out dresses that they loved. None of the girls consulted any of the others about their dresses when they initially bought them – they just all ended up looking great together! And yes, there was a bridesman.
They told the guys to just wear whatever grey pants, and whatever shoes. The groom chose Vans!

They were married by a friend of theirs in a very personal and emotional ceremony. Isn’t it awesome when the person who marries you wears the hottest tights, is super spunky, and writes lewd comments on your getaway car?
The wedding party and guests were greeted into the cake and punch reception by a llama and a parrot. I am pleased to report that the llama did not spit on anyone.

There was a bit of a woodland theme…..squirrels, birds, trees, flowers – and vegan cupcakes!

Beautiful couple. Beautiful yellow diamond.
After the reception the bridal party , moms, and a few close friends met for dinner at a yumbo Mexican – American restaurant, then headed to an after party at…get this….a bar/antique shop! Genius!!!!
