We took the old bar vanity lighting out of the bathroom and put something a little nicer in.

Love the detailing in the globe.  And dont worry about that plaid wallpaper, we still have to paint!  

My husband cut a hole in our wall and networked our living room by installing ethernet cables and ethernet jacks.  I was worried because….he was cutting holes my walls.  But he did it and it looks/is working fine!

When we moved in the living room was this sagey chalkboard green color.

We painted it Valspar Seaside Retreats – Taupe Stone.

We painted one wall in stripes!  We used Valspar Seaside Retreats – Taupe Stone (the darker stripe) and Valspar Seaside Retreats – Seagull Grey (the lighter one).

I absolutely love it!  It is so much lighter and brighter.

We are in our new house!  Now for the packing and painting.  We have been here six days now and have managed to paint the living room and dining room (before and afters to follow shortly).  Our internet was installed this morning, I cant believe I survived six days without the internet.  It can be done people.

I have been wanting fresh flowers in my house everyday lately. Mr. M never agrees with my plans to go buy flowers.

I cannot wait to plant some of these bad boys so that I can clip a few and have my favorite flowers in my home!

So, still no house.  We were supposed to close Friday the 24th.  Didnt happen.  They pushed it back to Tuesday the 28th.  Nope.  The last we were told was sometime next week.  So we are IMpatiently waiting.

The good thing about all of this is I have vacation time to move and paint.  We were going to be going to Gulf Shores for that week, but hey, I guess a house is a pretty good tradeoff.  We are painting every room of this house and I am not looking forward to it.  

Living Room, Hallway, and Dining Room

We chose Valspar – Filtered Shade.  The plans are to attempt an accent wall with a Filtered Shade/Seashell Gray stripe in the Living Room.

 We are going to either paint a stripe or paint the walls Cantaloupe and the trim Pinkade.
