The 20 Something Society

Fairly recently I kept seeing people posting this.  And I have to say I was offended.  And some of the women posting it were women whom I considered to have feminist ideals.  I was shocked.  I mean, really?

But at the time, I didnt say anything.  I’ve learned with all this social media, sometimes (most of the time) its not worth taking time out of your day to let yourself get too aggravated.  But recently I saw this version below, which made me feel better that people out there were thinking the same thing that I was.

I saw this picture of THE beautiful Zooey and thought the colors were so delicate and dainty.  I made a little colorboard!

Every few months I just want to go camping.  I haven’t been in YEARS!  And The Husband has never been.  He’s a self proclaimed inside boy.  I think if I could only get him to go camping during the fall, he’d like it.  It’s not hot, there aren’t bugs everywhere, the air smells nice.  I like the idea.  So.  If we can find some time this fall, we should go.  Ya hear that babe?

Over the past month or so I’ve been looking for something a little extra to throw into my exercise routine.  I’ve hit this wall.  My body has gotten used to my usual routine and its like it thinks that it is part of my every day movement.  Even thought I’m sweating and working hard my body is like eh whatevs.  So I decided I needed to mix something up with it.  But nothing that was going to add another of hour of exercise.  I don’t have the time to exercise two hours a day.  So I went on Netflix and found 10 Minute Solutions.

They have about a million different ones and each one has five ten minute sets that you can mix and match, do one at a time or several in a row.

This one kicked my friggin butt.  My quads were sore for three days.  If you have Netflix streaming there are several on watch it now.

I am not usually a Hibiscus fan, but when I saw this one today I thought it was the loveliest shades of light pink and deep red, and the not quite all the way open round shape is so pretty…

So, I was watching one of my favorite shows, Tori and Dean , and saw them riding these awesome thingys.

WHAT?!  A bike with a stroller attached.  Genius.  If I ever have a kid I’m getting one.  They are made by Taga and there are all kinds of options.

This is what I think of in my head when it is my birthday.

Today is my birthday and its been a busy day so we aren’t going to do alot.  We will have some hopefully delicious cake in a couple of hours though.  We celebrated my birthday this weekend.  I got to pick something so we went antiquing!  No huffing, no puffing, just browsing.  I didn’t really get anything, I found a necklace, but I still had fun!  I of course took Hipstas throughout the whole day.

Creepy.I wanted to get this whale bank for our upcoming baby cousin but the husband vetoed it.This ones for Acey Poo.Next we went to Hartlex.

The thermos was missing.Creepier.Is it sad that the old cabinet full of tupperware peaked our interest?I fell in LOVE with this little girls dress.  It was in near mint condition, the loveliest shade of grey, and only eight bucks.  I only know one little girl and her legs are a little too long!  Her booty may have been visible.Where fiestaware goes to die.Next..our favorite place – Firehouse!The Husbands needlepoint.

The amazing mailbox we lust after everytime.  I bought myself this leaf necklace.I still want this couch……husband…cough cough….My favorite.Then Ben and Jerrys.

Me.  On the road.There was only one stop left.  A questionable shack on the side of the highway.  I will never go there again.  It was very very creepy, I was sure we stepped into a Rob Zombie flick.

They have this corn dog fair booth out front that I wanted to look at.  It was a piece of junk up close.  But still kind of cool.I can smell it now.Um.  Excuse me old dude.  What the heck is this?The End.

I want to go swimming. Its hot out and its time to go. I can’t seem to find any time off to go do it though. I’m going to make it there. We don’t live in South Alabama anymore so..no more beach. We’ll have to go to a water park fairly near by.

I can has this zebra donkey mix?  Its oh so cute.

DUDES!  I almost forgot.  My grandparents gave me my birthday present early – my iPHONE!!!  YaYsssssss!  I really  needed one.  Thank you Granny and Grandaddy!

I really want a woodgrain cover for it.  Any suggestions?
