Cutest Puppies.
I found a new cute puppy to dream about. Behold the wonders of the puggle. A pug mixed with a beagle.

Something else I stumbled upon….a Bogle! A Boxer and a Beagle! It looks like a miniature Klaus…

Klaus loves many things…looking out of windows at squirrels, lounging with his pop pop, and eating ice cubes just to name a few.
If you go out in the yard with him to throw a toy – he will likely ignore you and go for the stick. Maybe he’s a hippie okay? He likes things natural. Another natural treat he enjoys is…

Broccoli stalks? Thats right he’s stinkin obsessed with them. And I’m cool with that because they’re free! We cooked broccoli tonight. I threw all of the stalks in the back yard…ahhh that will bring the pup many moments of pure joy. He’ll drag that stalk over to a tall patch of grass and gnaw on it all the livelong day.
For Klaus?
I’m in love with this brindle Boston.

Two brindles! Wouldn’t that be the cutest.

This past weekend we went to the hometown for my little sister in laws high school graduation, we celebrated mothers day while we were at it. Whenever we go home it is always BUSY! There are so many people we want to visit..and we NEVER have time to see all of them on every trip. On top of visiting family, and the graduation ceremony, my sister in law was still taking IB exams! One on her graduation day, and one the morning after. Here are some hipstas from the weekend. First off. I got my birthday turtle cake. My Granny made it and it was delicious and it is all gone.
Saturday was a long car ride, presents from our local comic book/horror movie convention Mobicon (from the father in law), and a puppy besties visit between Klaus, Ace, and Bea.

Sunday we attended her baccalaureate ceremony. It was held in the auditorium at the school…which is our alma mater . It was nice to see the school, old teachers, and to sing the alma mater – complete with jazz fingers. We had brunch with mother, father, and aunt in law afterwards. We all ate way too much and I had the best peach tea I have ever tasted. That night we spent a little bit of time with two of our oldest buds and their pup. We went to Blockbuster Video (its been years since I’ve stepped foot inside of those doors) and rented Zombieland! Good times.

Mother In Law Feets.

The husband and Bea Bea!
Monday was graduation! We visited with out of town family members and then headed to grad, which was held at our college alma mater. We were able to see the new bell tower, sister in law and her friends finally graduate high school, and sing the alma mater again.

Our thoughts on the bell tower: Why do we need a bell tower? So we can get sniped?
Tuesday we caught a quick Cracker Barrel breakfast and hit the road. Man, do I love perusing the little store in the front of the Cracker Barrel.

And the father in law gave me three of their old cameras. And they are awesome. Here is my favorite one.

More shots from my Hipstamatic app.

My little boy sleeping in our green vintage chair.

My lifeline.

So, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying my iPhone. I’m a bit obsessed with it, but I’m sure it will wear off somewhat sometime. Before I even got my iPhone I wanted the Hipstamatic app. If you are friends with me on THE Facebook, you are fully aware of this, as you have pretty much been seeing a picture diary of my days ever since I downloaded it. The app lets is for your camera, it lets you take images that look like the dreamy, vintagey, imperfect ones produced by the old plastic cameras from back in the day. You can change lenses, flashes, and films for different effects. It is most excellent.

The husband downloaded it for me just as it was time to go to bed, these are the first ‘lets see how this looks’ shots I took.

The saddest dog ever…being forced to go to bed.

Yesterday seemed to be all about Klaus day. We took him for a long and leisurely walk and when we arrived back home played with him in the yard for most of the remainder of the day. So I’m going to post some shots from yesterday of our favorite puppy.

This is our little boy. Klaus. He turned one last week. Happy birthday Klausy!!!

Today was a running around town doing errands kind of day. But before that could start, the husband made some homemade cinnamon rolls.
Yum.
We started to walk out of the door and realized it was snowing, so I grabbed my handy dandy man hat. When we hopped in the car and plugged the ipod in the first song of the day was – - – Metallica – Enter Sandman! YES! I love to sing like James Hetfield.
First stop – Moviestop. While trying to find a parking spot I let out a huge GASP and made my husband think he was about to get in a wreck or run over someone. Really I just saw a banner saying Moviestop was having a horrorfest sale. He had to keep me under control. We traded in what seemed like a million and two movies, and in return got enough back for about one and a half blu rays. We chose Star Trek and Boogie Nights.
I decided if we ever have a son, I’m going to get him the young Spock haircut. YEAH BOI.
I always have said, if I would have been A) single and B) more adventurous when I graduated high school, I would have went away to film school. But I didn’t. Looking back I really believe the first time I ever thought about filmmaking was when I was in middle school and read Stephen Kings Christine. I had never seen the movie and waited until I was done with the book to watch it. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed and dreamt of remaking the movie by the time I was 25. I’ll be 25 in about three months. I also started writing a screenplay when I was in middle school. I believe I called it ‘Two Can Keep A Secret’ and it fell in the horror genre. I have no idea where that is floating around. I still think about these things and am very interested in how movies are made. I’m the type that watches all of the commentaries and special features. By myself because my husband has little to no interest. If you aren’t this type you might not want to watch this video of PTAs three minute film school commentary to the beginning scene from Boogie Nights. This movie is epic by the way.
Next stop – Target! To spend my leftover christmas gift cards.
I selected..some outlet converters for our old house.
A pretty polka dotted scarf, black stripedy sweater, and riding/militia style hat. I can’t decide which one.

And some bones for the pup.
Third stop – the husbands favorite place….Bed Bath and Beyond. He bought some boring things like oxo canisters, chip clips, and a tervis tumbler national championship Alabama football cup?
Then Best Buy to spend his leftover christmas gift card, he chose a car charger for his Iphone. I know, loads of excitement from us.
So thats my day. Sorry if it bored you!
This is what you get for punishment if you go rooting around in my hair diddy drawer.
The shame.
Yeah, I said “rooting around” and “hair diddy” in the same sentence AND WHAT?
