I have been totally digging fruits in weddings lately. Especially oranges!

Bout.

I was over at Love My Dress today and saw this little piece of sunshine.
It is a vintage caravan named Lola (one of my favorite names too!)! Now I need one of these to go with my squeezebox for photoshoots.
This little beauty is owned by Laura Dew who runs a business called My Vintage Party. She rents out and sells vintage tableware for your parties and events, and if you don’t feel like putting together all of the details they offer a full afternoon tea party package. They also rent out the caravan for weddings, photographers, and media. If only she were near me, I would be working with her constantly. Shes in the UK!

Had a good old fashioned junk food dinner.
Cherry soda. Check.

One full frame of frozen pizza. Check.

Dessert. Thin mints. Check.

It was good times.
I should just go build a cake already.
This cake was made as a Mcqueen tribute by a couple of interns from Who What Where.
Where did they find such perfect sprinkles?
since I’ve had a rice krispy treat. I want to make a rice krispy cake for someone. I have never seen one in real life. I guess its like a mythical beast to me.

While I’m at it…

I am loving Wanwisa Wednesdays over on Southern Weddings blog. This week their bold bohemian board featured a totally naked cake. You heard it. A naked cake. And I want to eat one.
This is a unfinished tres leches cake from Momofuko Milk Bar in NYC. I want to go to there.
We are thinking about throwing a party for my birthday this year (the big 2-5). Maybe I can try to find someone to make a naked cake that tastes as good as this one looks
I logged onto the Facebook this morning, (thats right I still call it THE facebook) and there was a little album in my newsfeed. ”Sexy Birthday” I believe it was titled. Of course I had to look at them because they were from the birthday of an absolutely adorable gal whom an old high school acquaintance is dating. I am so doing a shoot with her one day because of the aforementioned adorableness.
Anyways, I LOVE her cake. It is fun and sassy and colorful, and yummy looking.
Thats her! And the cake!
Happy Birthday K!
