Briiiiiiiiing, Briiiiiiiiiiiing…

Hello? Kate Spade?! I’m just calling to tell you that I will take one of these. Thank you!

Jennifer Anniston graces the cover of the Bazaar September issue – as Barbara Streisand.

When I first saw it I thought it was Barbara for a hot second.

I’ve been longing for colder weather / fall. Seeing this made it worse.
So, recently I decided I needed some pants. I only own one pair of pants that aren’t jeans. I took a trip to the Gap and tried a few pairs on. Gap is on this legging pant kick right now and that wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. They have a premier pant collection though. Nice pants with suit jackets and everything. I opted out of the suit jacket. One thing I love about the Gap is their “cropped” pants. I’m one short lady, so their version of cropped is just right on me. I tried on a pair of the slim cropped premier pants and liked them..bought them. Give me a couple of chances to actually wear them and I’ll let you know if I love them.

While I was there I oogled this chartreuse moto zip cardigan that I drool over every time I go in. This time it was actually on sale..but they were all too friggin big for me.
Twas a sad, sad day.
And this GapKids shirt was so cute I was tempted to try and squeeze into one.

I haven’t posted one of these in a while…This is me at my sister in laws high school graduation in May.

Iris Apfel. She is 88 years old. She is a style icon. She might be me in 63 years? There was an exhibition at the MET called Rare Bird: The Irreverent Iris Apfel. They showcased many of ensembles from her personal collection. She mixes, she matches, she wears haute couture with costume jewelry and takes her personal style to the extreme.

And those glasses. I die. I tell The Husband all the time that when I get old I’m going to have crazy big glasses.
Christina Hendricks in L.A. Times magazine. Looking absolutely beautiful and perfect.

You know girls who want to be tan so badly that they’re orange. I envy porcelain skin. Like hers.
I would love a vacation. Just some relaxation and fun with The Husband. We haven’t really taken a vacation since our honeymoon. I was on Facebook the other day and some pictures popped up on my newsfeed. The pictures were…..of Egypt. Specifically, Dahab. And can I just say, I want to go to there?
I borrowed these pictures from her so you all could drool over them as I do.

This one makes me cry tears of joy.

Even the camels are smiling.
And I’ll buy these…first two from Anthro, hat Juicy Couture.
