One of my favorite Christmas movies is The Family Stone. A bit more sadness and less ho ho ho jingle bells – but I love it. There is a scene in the movie in which one of the characters is explaining a dream he had about another and it is my favorite part of the movie.
“You were shoveling snow. You were just a little girl in a flannel night gown and you were shoveling snow from the walk in front of out house. And I was the snow. I was the snow, everywhere it landed, everything it covered, you’d scoop me up. With a big red shovel, you’d scoop me up.”
I am loving Drews hair and makeup from the He’s Just Not That Into You premiere. She looks so classic early sixties. And yes, I borrowed all of these pictures from Just Jared.
I was going through my inspiration files and stumbled upon these next pictures. I can’t recall where they came from but if I am remembering correctly they are from a real wedding – the photos were just inverted to make the funky zombie apocalypse coloring. Anyways I think they are quite mesmerizing.
A couple of zombie wedding ideas for you.
I remember when I was a child of 19, watching Carmen Electra and Dave Navarros MTV reality show Till Death Do Us Part. The show documented their time together planning their wedding and whatnot. They did a little photoshoot for their save the dates with a till death do us part morgue them which is the only thing I remember from that show because I thought it was really sweet. Jacquelyn Jackson Photography just may do an engagement session spin on this idea….
and I also have these zombie cake toppers saved from seller licoricewits
HARRY POTTER!!!!!!! The newest movie will be releasing soon. And I am uber pumped. I am afraid I may be bawling the entire time through these last two. I watched the first two a couple of days ago and it had me thinking about the first time I saw them. Back then, I just thought ‘hey these movies are awesome!’ but now looking back I would have never thought that they would seem so important to me.
We watched the actors grow over the years, we watched the characters relationships grow and change, and it is going to be so sad when they aren’t pumping out a new movie every year in my life. It is definitely something I am going to notice is missing.
This is a little Emma Watson gem from David Lettermans show – they’re all out promoting the movie.
I’m spending the day on the computer – in blogland, editing from my last JJP wedding, ordering product. Over on ye olde tv Cold Mountain is on. If you haven’t seen this movie – go watch it. But even more importantly. Go listen to the soundtrack. The movie is moving in and of itself, but paired with the music….the music kind of makes it for me. The music is “The Crying Game” worthy I can tell you that. Some songs on the soundtrack are religious – which I am not – but I still frequently listen to them. The music is raw and full of emotion. Please, go listen.
Here is Jack White performing “Wayfaring Stranger” live.
