This morning I was lucky enough to spend a couple of hours in Target, getting some props and whatnot for a couple of upcoming shoots. Here is a sneak peek of some of the things I bought. Not actual product images but dang close.
I was there around lunch time, so I went to the deli area to peruse the archer farmes ready made lunches. After much deliberation, I decided upon an option that looked a little like this.
This was the most perfect lunch ever. I gotta say. I had never eaten salami before and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I even called the husband – “Hey babe, whatch doin? Oh really? SALAMIS GOOD!”
Is it odd to say that watching Rosemarys Baby is like a breath of fresh air to me.
This is my favorite version of the book cover….maybe because its the one I had? An old Copy I found at a used book store, The Book Nook, in my home town. I miss that place.
I’m reading that HBO is planning on doing a pilot for a series based on the Pamela Des Barres book I’m With the Band: Confessions of a Groupie and that my girl Zooey is going to star. I don’t know if its true or not, but it sounds like a match made in heaven.
I have been running on the elliptical and watching Little Women. The 1994 version with Wynona.
I was nine when it came out. I bought it on VHS and watched it over and over. I loved Jo. (strong female lead! Ha!) “Well, of course Aunt March prefers Amy over me. Why shouldn’t she? I’m ugly and awkward and I always say the wrong things. I fly around throwing away perfectly good marriage proposals. I love our home, but I’m just so fitful and I can’t stand being here! I’m sorry, I’m sorry Marmee. There’s just something really wrong with me. I want to change, but I – I can’t. And I just know I’ll never fit in anywhere.”
Can you believe that I have never read the book? I know I can’t. After I am finished reading Stephen Kings Skeleton Crew and Patricia Cornwells Portrait of a Killer: Jack the Ripper I should go snag a copy.
Vintage Christian Bale from this movie. Even at nine I loved Christian Bale.
I always despised Laurie for macking on Amy. How despicable.
The movie looks good, but even just from the beginning of the book and the preview the book is better. But that is ninety nine percent of the time I guess.
