Kids.
I don’t really want kids right now, and maybe never. I’ll tell you this, as of right now I don’t want kids, but you never know what you’ll want when you’re thirty. I need my me time right now.
There are lots of fun things about kids, but one thing I would be excited about is naming them. I have a whole slew of names that I like on reserve. I’m using them on my dogs. We only have the one now, Klaus, but we want to get a second soon. The baby name trending lists for 2010 have come out and here they are according to Nameberry.
• Economical Names – Shorter, monosyllabic names like Joe, Hal and Max.
• Retro Names – Think of traditional “grandmother/father” names and you get idea: Florence, Josephine, Walter and Raymond.
• The L Word – Names with two L sounds: Lola, Delilah and Lulu
• The X Factor – Possibly brought on by the Jolie-Pitt clan, names with the letter X will be in fashion: Dexter, Rex, Felix
I know I can say that four of the aforementioned names are on my reserve list already.
